Lewisham Summer HAF Programme ForsterMPark Week 3 - Day 3 Lewisham Council Our HAF Programmme provides eligible children and young people with a free meal and enriching activities where they can learn new skills and meet new friends. sportsfun4all.com
Yesterday, we entered five teams into the London Youth Football Tournament at Coram's Fields We are only allowed to post four pictures, so I have posted the following teams: 1. Catford u14 2. Deptford u16 3. Downham u16 4. Downham u14
A few highlights from our HAF Programme over the last few days at ForsterMPark funded by Lewisham Council As a result of this programme, we want children who attend this provision to eat healthily and be active over the school holidays sportsfun4all.com
A very despondent group of YP collecting their runners up medals after our u19s lost in the Final to an extra time goal vs Rockingham FC in the London Youth Football Tournament I wouldn't expect the YP to look any other way as they're winners and could never celebrate 2nd place
We entered 3 teams into the Active Communities Network Football Tournament. Once again, we had the most teams at the tournament, which is a reflection of how many YP were working with across our 13 venues each week. The 3 teams were: 1. Downham u13 2. Crystal Palace u13 3. Deptford u16
Big well done to our Crystal Palace u13 team who won the Active Communities Network u13 Football Tournament at Burgess Park on Wednesday What makes this achievement even better is that the Crystal Palace team came bottom of their group in the same tournament last season sportsfun4all.com
One of the aims of our free weekly football sessions is to work in partnership with YP+ Lewisham MPS to support the societal changes they face, like youth violence, and to improve community safety. Over the last two years, they attended our sessions a number of times.
Last Friday, we played a match against Dost Centre from Canning Town in East London. Although our sessions aren't typically focused on playing matches, we like to provide young people with the opportunity to play against similarly-minded individuals and organisations.
Thanks for your continued partnership and support Lewisham MPS Darren is a great asset to the session as he breaks down the barriers between YP and Police and gets them to humanise each other as we all continue our work to reduce youth violence in Lewisham London's Violence Reduction Unit Oli
