True story. Amazing that HOK St. Louis overlooked the off-axis design for the tower until Morrison told Mayor Voinovich about it. The city then bought property enabling BP to move the tower east to the axial centerline of the Mall, avoiding a huge goof.

I admire John Wesley Powell for his courage and esp. his advocacy of watershed-based govt. (tinyurl.com/mtdynj8r), but uhaul might want to rethink the Indiana Jones flavor of this promo. Canyons and rivers in the SW were known by earlier inhabitants.
