Today, we were joined by students from Windermere School who came to add their voices with the simple message: stop putting sewage into our lake.

I despair. The Ben Nevis summit shelter is, as the name suggests, a refuge for people who may require it in an emergency. Instead it’s been used as a dumping ground for selfish people who can’t be bothered to take their sh!t home.

And to think some committee members at Lake District thought it be wise to approve a faux heritage attraction by Elterwater whilst ignoring the local community’s protestations and poor infrastructure 🙄😢 #lakedistrict #overtourism bbc.co.uk/news/articles/… #nature #environment
