Buckhead Battle: North squared up with Westminster for a scrimmage on Warrior Field on Friday, Aug. 2, and the Dubs rolled 35 to 7. Beyond the domination on the field, there were many supporters, in and around the bleachers and up on the hill. A good time was had by all. Go Dubs!

Copy Creators: The weekly Story Generation Meeting is where staffers present ideas and editors give feedback. So much going on in the 11 Stories! This talented crew will cover it. Read their work at thewarriorwire.org. (And no, we don’t know what Cabell is smiling about …)

Back to School: A Wire tradition is for staffers to write homages to celebrate memories from their summer breaks. These written passages – the first assignments for the year – can be funny and wistful (or both). Staff: Read with boldness and conclude with “Goodbye Summer!”

The Veterans: They’ve returned for another year of journalistic endeavor. The Wire veterans. But before taking down the “Wire Wall” – that shows last year’s output – they take a photo to commemorate past work. But that was then. This is now! For All Things North, Read the Wire!
