PhDマクロ経済学教科書、２章を加えました。（あと４章で終わり。。。）８章はとてもユニークな章だと思います。「カリブレーションと構造推定の違いは何？」みたいな疑問にも答えるようになっています。９章は道具立ての章ですが、例えば連続時間のテクニックを手短に習えるようになっています。

とてもうれしいお知らせが届きました。『イノベーション』と『アントレプレナーシップ』という2冊の教科書を出版しました。この印税は全額寄付しました。その寄付先の1つはベトナムのライチヤウ省の山間部の小学校・幼稚園の整備プロジェクトでした。そこでは図書館が整備されていませんでした。

日経BPに申請し（Ayako Hirono 広野彩子さん、アドバイスありがとうございました）許可が出たので、2009年「雇用政策に３つのカギ」と2010年「不況期こそ参入促進を」のコラム（双方とも『日経ビジネス』）を日本語ページsites.google.com/view/toshimuko…に掲載しました。（規定により印刷のプロテクトがかかっています。）

15年経って読み返してみると、解雇規制や成長政策は今でも議論されているし、日本経済の大事なイシューというのは変わらないのだなあというのが最初の感想。この二つの記事に書いたことに関しては、自分は今でも繰り返し言い続けている気がする。もちろん15年の間に学んだこともたくさんあるけれど。

Business Formation Statistics through August 2024 released yesterday from the Census Bureau. Applications for likely new employers remain significantly elevated compared to 2019 (30% higher) but have declined some from Fall 2023.
