9/9 10pm CDT: There is a danger of life-threatening storm surge from #Francine for portions of the Upper Texas & Louisiana coastlines where a Storm Surge Warning is in effect. Residents in the warning area should follow advice, including evacuation orders, from local officials.

Tropical Storm Francine is expected to become a hurricane tonight. Tropical Storm Warnings are in effect over the coastal waters with a Tropical Storm Watch over the bays and coast. A Coastal Flood Warning as well as high risk of rip currents is in effect until Thu afternoon.
