Together with World Bank Africa 🇬🇲, we kick start a 3⃣ day symposium on strengthening Peace & Prosperity in #Gambia 🇬🇲 Discussions with policy-makers, academics, & civil society will focus on achieving sustainable growth, strengthening democratic institutions, & promoting peace.

Yesterday, we welcomed 8⃣3⃣ returning migrants from Algeria 🇩🇿 through our Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration programme supported by EU International Partnerships 🇪🇺. Since January 2024, IOM facilitated the safe and dignified return of over 1300 stranded Gambians migrants. #MPRRSSA
