Dr Jeffrey Arthurs (Gordon-Conwell ) on 'The Neglected Genre of Lament'

Thanks to all who joined us for the first day of the Hidden Hope in Lament Conference. And thanks to our speakers (Dr Sean McDonough, Dr Karen Mason and Dr Jeffrey Arthurs) who navigated us through sensitive topics with an emphasis on pastoral care.

Today we marked Prof Gordon Campbell’s retirement from his Faculty role as Professor of New Testament. This was an opportunity to show our appreciation for Gordon's many years of work with the College, along with his wife Sandra, in the presence of colleagues and friends.

Dr Arthurs kindly gifted the Gamble Library a copy of 'The Preacher's Greek Companion to James: A Selective Commentary for Meditation and Sermon Preparation,' by Angus Courtney and Dr Jeffrey Arthurs.

We're very excited to welcome our new BA Hons Theology students to UTC for their induction prior to the semester starting on Monday 23rd September.

Induction day two: our new BA students are joined by the first year ministry students, MDiv and Mission Pioneers for a welcome breakfast with the General Student Council.
