The Scott Field Day is one week away & we would like to thank our sponsors-annual, event & in-kind. Their support assists us in hosting extension events & in providing relevant agricultural research to producers. Their commitment to agricultural research is truly appreciated!

Great visuals seen on SPG’s chickpea plant population trial. One side is the low seeding rate of 18 plants/m2 and the other is the high of 72 plants/m2 on CDC Lancer chickpeas by Luseland. This on-farm trial is part of SPG’s PROFIT program. Saskatchewan Pulse Growers SPG Agronomy Team

Another beautiful morning at WARC. Safe to say no field work will be done this morning! We have now had 4.5 inches of rain since June!

Thank you to the presenters and attendees for making the Scott Field Day a success! The weather was hot but at least we had a breeze to help keep us cool. WARC could not host events like these without the support of our sponsors and we gratefully acknowledge their support!

Highlighting Our Pulse Variety Showcase! We are seeing lots of varietal differences as we begin disease ratings! We also are noticing more blister beetle damage on our Fabelle Faba Beans compared to other varieties!

Thank you to CLC for having us at your field day to speak about the on-farm program. It was a great morning focusing on pulses, wheat, and barley. Ending with marginal acres for pollinator habitat. SK CLC Saskatchewan Pulse Growers Sask Wheat SaskBarley Kayla Slind (Hawkins)

🌱Starting off day 2 of the Teacher Agriculture Expedition with a visit to WARC where teachers got to see how various crops are grown on a research farm. 🥣☕Looking at the oats in the field this morning, we can't help but think about the oatmeal, granola bar, or oat milk
