Violent disorder & thuggery has no place on Britain’s streets. It is a disgrace that the same police who worked to save lives in Southport were attacked next day with bricks. Today Keir Starmer & I met police chiefs on how we’ll work together to crack down on violent disorder.

The criminal, violent attack on a hotel housing asylum seekers in Rotherham is utterly appalling. Deliberately setting fire to a building with people known to be inside. South Yorkshire Police have full Government support for the strongest action against those responsible.
