4yrs of mtgs with schls listening to them question & dismiss ADHD in pupils, then dismissing formal diagnostic reports. 4yrs & not one single schl who had invested in ADHD training yet were experts in things ADHD. Bit like them all being parenting experts eh 🙄🙄

The Tories have left behind a huge crisis in SEND education. Hundreds of thousands of children are suffering as a result and their families are often left totally desperate. I've secured a debate in Parliament next week on the SEND crisis. Let me know your experiences below.

Only inclusive & innovative, resulting in children thriving if the ethos of the setting delivering it is inclusivity & innovation, with an understanding of & supporting its neurodivergent cohort. We are a long way off that point. Ableism/Sanctions/exclusions EVERY child matters

Another school, another pupil denied access to an EHC needs assessment. The reason? School state pupil is academically able. Where is that pupil now? Attendance almost non existent! Academic ability is not an indicator of SEN, never was, never will be!!

LA mediation company filters parents into active case management. LA then redate refusal to assess decision letters to 're trigger' parents right to obtain mediation & cert! Parent put into ACM in Oct 23 still no EHCP & mediation mtg today !!!!
