Last race day of the flat season Sandown Park on a beautiful warm day. Hard to believe that the flat season will soon come to an end with the autumn equinox just a few days away. Great to see Sandown Park celebrating Sir Michael Stoute. #racing

Cool that 矢作芳人厩舎【公式】 active on X sharing news of happenings in 🇯🇵 and on their overseas exploits. Met Yahagi-san at the Japan Cup last Nov, we talked international racing. He visited Epsom Downs Racecourse many years ago, very much that he will return one day soon. The Jockey Club

The unsaddling enclosure at Epsom, like the start at Newmarket, was another of Munnings’s favourite subjects. In the studies and the finished painting of the Enclosure at Epsom, he experiments with the bright light contrast of the stands, the dark coat of the horse and shadows.

A little late to the party but absolutely delighted for @epsomgallops trainer Craig Benton notching a double Chelmsford City Racecourse last night to get off the mark in his 1st season. Craig trains out of The Limes in Epsom, once occupied by John Benstead. The Jockey Club Epsom Downs Racecourse

Sat morning Epsom Gallops is a lovely way to start the day. Parked at the top car park to watch Toby Lawes Racing load his string after having worked on the polytrack and the bottom gallop. Toby regularly uses the Epsom gallops to supplement his home facilities. Epsom Downs Racecourse

Fast work morning Epsom Gallops on the polytrack and the bottom gallop. Good to see Epsom trainers, today Michael Attwater and Jim Boyle Racing, out and about with their owners. #epsom #trainingcentre #homeofthederby The Jockey Club
