Banning the working class from working during a pandemic but not banning the rentier class from extracting rents has done more to instill an immediate and furious class consciousness than anything else I've ever seen.

Setting aside the absurdity of this tweet since so many workplaces are shutting down--that is, you don't need childcare, you need a paycheck--it shows how poisoned the Democrats are by the moral equation that says you're only worth helping if you're contributing to capitalism.

I still believe that peace and plenty and happiness can be worked out some way. I am a fool.
