1/2 Effective immediately, the load capacity of the Bristy Cove River Bridge on Cape Race Road is reduced to 12 tonnes for Single-unit vehicles, 21 tonnes for two-unit vehicles, and 29 tonnes for vehicle trains. The bridge is located 9.6 kms from the beginning of Cape Race Road.

2/2 A recent inspection found that due to the condition of the bridge, a load reduction is required for safety reasons. Signage is in place. DFO is currently exploring options to reinforce or replace the Bristy Cove River Bridge. We appreciate your cooperation.
