Distraction when I should be writing a presentation.

The most interesting class in the National Monuments Service catalog is 'redundant record' - It is worth exploring when you have a few free hours as there are some interesting notes in there, I've found a few stones of interest which are no longer recorded as the class has been updated.

Serious lighting over Galway city tonight.

That moment when you go looking for those really important files and they are not where you expected. Just had a mini heart attack, thinking I lost all the raw data of a major project I spend weeks on, then realized it was on a different backup drive.

Some lovely fragments scanned in Galway this week. The colour is chalk and done a long time ago before the significance of the stones identified.

It's crazy to see the detail on this 12th C carving. - When I was centering the rendered 3D scan I noticed how the noses of the heads line up, also the triangles are all inline. The most interesting note is low amount the archaeologists got paid - thejournal.ie/full-review-so… - It was prob a small job, but when you consider the overall cost it nothing, yet the journal felt they needed to mention it.
