This is the area of Ryton Wood where the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust made a big deal of releasing Dormice. Dormice hibernate on the ground usually in Hazel Coppices. The contractors cut them all down. If the introduction hasn't already failed, it has now. The Wildlife Trusts Craig Bennett Natural England
