I love Tailwind, but I don't believe it's a good idea to style 100% of your app with Tailwind, particularly as plain CSS has been improving significantly with nesting, relative colors, etc.

Triggering dropdowns on mouse/touch/pointer down is a bad idea. It messes with focus and the :active state.

Now I'm thinking about just using click event handlers.
