Like many freelancers, I am from time to time asked to work for the "exposure" or "networking opportunities" or "we'll share you on our social media channels" ie: we'd like you there but we are not going to pay you. Recently a large event approached me & invited me to speak 1/

Yet there are so many people across the UK: speakers/writers/gardening consultants like myself, artists, musicians, performers, etc regularly asked to work without any payment. It is just wrong & that attitude needs to change.
