It was a great pleasure to host Sine Lo Svenningsen and Maria Selmer from Uppsala University at Molekylærbiologi - Molecular Biology Aarhus University for the PhD defence of Adriana Chrenková. Wonderful discussions about bacteria, phages, lyases, and kinases.
Needless to say, I agree very much. Too often, DNA is represented as a regular helix, which it's not, and often left-handed or with too many base pairs per turn. It's 10, like the fingers on your hands. Notice in Sam Horrell 🗿's drawing that one bp is hidden behind the cross.
