This small Green Party NI election poster supporting @ClareBaileyGPNI is still attached to a lamp post at the entrance to Malone View Park. How long before it is removed I wonder? [The election was a long time ago.]
I thoroughly enjoyed walking the Our Place in Space designed by Oliver Jeffers in collaboration with Stephen Smartt this morning. I can recommend it without hesitation; try to see it before it finishes on 10th July.
What an amazing concert! Ulster Orchestra as part of the BBC Radio 3 Summer Invitation Concert series, playing Bartók: Dance Suite Tchaikovsky: Violin Concerto The soloist was the brilliant Maria Dueñas,who fully deserved the prolonged standing ovation she received. 🎼🎶🎵🎻
To the Ulster Hall again this afternoon for another in the series of BBC Radio 3 Summer Invitation concerts. The programme was: Grażyna Bacewicz: Overture Sibelius: Scènes historiques I Dvořák: The Water Goblin, Op. 107 Great to hear this music for the first time, in my case.
Back in the Ulster Hall for the Opening Concert of the Ulster Orchestra 2022/23 Season and what a great concert it was! Sir Stephen Hough (Stephen Hough) was in majestic form in the Brahms PC2. #fridaynightismusicnight 🎶🎵🎹🎼
Last night's Ulster Orchestra concert was nothing short of excellent. From the choice of programme to the performance under the baton of Daniele Rustioni everything was brilliant. #Fridaynightismusicnight 🎼🎻
It was a real pleasure to meet and have a brief chat with Claire McCollum on the towpath, near the Lock Keeper's Inn, this morning. 🚶♂️🙂
#ROHLelisir Watching in the Odeon cinema in Belfast. I am really enjoying the performance; the singing is so good, especially Nadine Sierra 🎶🎵
* Poster watch* I obviously missed this one which is on the Stranmillis Road between the traffic lights at Danesfort Park and the Ulster Clinic. Kate Nicholl and Paula Bradshaw MLA could you use your contacts to have this removed?
To the Ulster Hall | Live Entertainment Belfast last night for Music For Good Friday performed by Ulster Orchestra with the Belfast Philharmonic Society. The single piece on the programme was Dvořák's Stabat Mater. I was blown away by this music; amazing doesn't even come close to describing it. #fridaynightismusicnight 🎼
