I thought the last deglaciation (end of the ice age) took thousands of years to happen. But a family member is convinced it's 50 years. I'm thinking this belief is a main pillar of their thinking current climate change is not manmade. Anyone got recent accurate figures on this?

We've a lot to thank the Mesopotamians for. Archaeologists found wool fibers, as well as tools and implements used for spinning, weaving, & processing wool, dating back to the Neolithic period. 6000-4000 years BCE. If you can read cuneiform there's more info below
