Not weird at all; just doesn’t seem to have the superstitions many athletes/golfers have. Scottie’s golf balls—regardless of the number— are finding hole faster than anyone else’s!

They think of everything at The Masters, including eclipse glasses with the date on them. April 8, 2024 — week of the 88th playing of the tournament.

What a finish at Augusta National Women's Amateur! All credit to the gutsy finish by Lottie Woad. Just wow! So proud of Bailey, too. The future of women’s golf is in great hands.

Think I’ve got a few more gray hairs watching that performance by Bailey Shoemaker… so proud of fellow New York State Golf Assoc. Junior Girls Champion. WHAT A ROUND to close out the Augusta National Women's Amateur! Go, Bailey!

Shake, rattle and roll in Saratoga Springs, NY! About 6 seconds worth. Plant in my office shaking, sound of house walls as if we were in a windstorm.

We all feel that same excitement!

And, yes, prep is necessary (and on-going regularly) for the most demanding walk of the year. 2x weekly pilates/gyrotonic sessions, daily cardio and stability-strengthening program designed by Alison Synakowski. 2nd toughest walk: Muirfield Village.

I can hear the unmistakable music now…

4 days of live golf at the year’s first major and a bonus coming on the We Need To Talk show prior to the third round.🌺

Not many but even that small number was too many. Every MC hurt. However, missing a cut made me more focused on what it took to improve and win. For example: MC 1996 U.S. Women’s Open; won 4 of my next 7 starts.

This is quite the walk down memory lane with my dear friend (and now phenomenal softball coach) Brandie Burton. Darn, we had fun! She describes herself perfectly… someone who loves to compete, is kind, hardworking and respectful. 2 majors for her, but that’s just the start!
