🌆 YEAR 8 LONDON TRIP 🌆 After spending the morning going around the Tower of London, this afternoon saw the students have a wet River Thames boat cruise followed off by some time at the British Museum and watching the movements at 10 Downing Street .. a busy day!!

Our Year 12’s today attended a lecture on the UCAS application process for universities at Bath University today as part of their Enrichment Week Activities.

A great day at Croyde honing surfing skills for Downend School Y7s. We also found out that Devon seagulls will eat through a plastic bag to find a sandwich!

An hour ago, this Downend School Y7 student was sitting out this activity due to a fear of heights. 20 minutes later, he told me he'd decided to have a go. This was his first attempt. He's currently climbing up to the top level. Simply, wow!

Today our year 8’s explored some of the sporting grounds of London, the Olympic Stadium, London Stadium and Wembley.

🌆 YEAR 12 LONDON TRIP 🌆 Great first day yesterday. First a trip to the museums, followed by Pizza Express and then off to the theatre to watch Wicked (or for some of us to watch some high quality football!).
