Today I'm out with Dorset Road Safe to learn more about what they do and how they do it. We're straight out to meet with a #CommunitySpeedWatch team and then on to some speed enforcement 👮🏻‍♂️🚓

We're in a really fortunate position in Dorset Police and are supported right across the organisation. "Valued people add value, better valued people add better value." Thank you to Chris Smith and his team for the support. Well done Colleen, I'm proud of you 🙌🏼

After a couple of meetings this afternoon, I joined one of Dorset Road Safe's team and conducted speed detection. In just 55 minutes, in a residential street, by a school and a crossing, we recorded 20 speeding drivers. The highest speed being 52mph. It blows my mind #Fatal5 ✋🏻🛑

The teams have been busy over the weekend and continue to be so. Forensic specialists are deployed across the County to support this investigation. Officers from Dorset Specials have also chipped in, which is fantastic to see. Thank you to both of my teams 🫡
