Tony Blair: “I remember a conversation in the Brexit debate He said to me ‘you're this typical elite, trying to say you know more about it than I do’ But do you know what I said to them? I DO know more because I've been prime minister for 10yrs”

The New York Post ripping into "the increasingly fascist press office of the NYPD" and its "thin-skinned propagandists who spend their days lashing out at reporters" and things are entirely off the rails. nypost.com/2024/09/06/opi…

Two Pontic friends, Konstantinos from Greece and Okan from Turkey. For the first time Konstantinos visits the villages and places of his Greek ancestors in Pontus at Black Sea in nowadays Turkey, with his close companion and guide Okan. That is his nostalgic trip without words...

What's unreal to me is that people like Charles Cooke can't acknowledge that some people think Trump is such a threat they won't support a party that has chosen him three times to be their top candidate. You don't agree, fine, but you can acknowledge why they are doing it

Ed Fuller Here's one attempt at comparison: The I-95 stretch from Ben Franklin to Walt Whitman recorded 8 fatal crashes over 10 years with ~140k daily vehicles. A similar length stretch of North Broad recorded 27 fatal crashes with ~40k daily vehicles. Approx. ~11.8x more per vehicle.

The terrifying reality of being a parent in America is that no matter how careful, patient and responsible you are, your child’s life is always in the hands of the most negligent parent in your suburb.

I literally can’t leave my home. Not only is there plenty of parking in this area, there’s unusable sidewalk that they could’ve parked on. They rather destroy the nice new sidewalk in front of the disabled housing. The PPA I filed a report.

Can’t stress enough how much Australia’s continued existence as a nation even under the shadow of China is American largesse based on affection for Keith Urban.

Why continue to assassinate my father’s character, after he already died by assassination, with erroneous information and comparisons? Why even bring him up in this post about a conversation that possibly didn’t even happen? Why not do the initial research and share the truth

Saw, in succession, trailers for Wicked, Mufasa, and Transformers One and we've reached the point where not only is every movie pre-existing IP but we're going to give them all the exact same plot

👀 “FBI, Mayor Adams is right here!” the female spectator hollered as the march crossed West 46th Street and 5th Avenue. “He’s right here and he probably has his cell phone with him! Come get him!” the woman continued. nypost.com/2024/09/07/us-…

I love the urbanism of Philadelphia's Chinatown. There are countless walkable small businesses catering to a diversity of needs, small affordable grocery stores with fresh food, street vibrancy, and a clear sense of community. It's a wonderful place.
