Derek (DBingham) and I will be hiring 3 postdocs over the next 3 years, researching Bayesian solution of stochastic inverse problems and foundations of Bayesian statistics applied to the detection of critical minerals for mining. Two year appointments with good salaries.

Hope to see many involved in clinical trials in attendance. I’ll cover the importance of maximizing power&clinical interpretability using longitudinal ordinal models&briefly cover options for analyzing multiple outcome scales that are hard to combine into a single ordinal scale.

My oldest son turned 18 this week. I wanted to give him something special that would last a lifetime. So I asked some godly Christian men of all ages to write him a letter sharing life wisdom they'd acquired. I got 37 responses. Their answers blew me away. 🧵

Insightful as always, Prof Marion Campbell. RARs have a place in trial designs, despite the controversies and debates. Like RARs, covariate-adaptive RAR are also gaining grounds too. I like your points on RAR being useful for short-term outcomes and the importance of burn-ins.
