It is an honour to have been appointed shadow Minister of State for Health. I look forward to holding the Government to account, and working with the Government and with colleagues across the House of Commons to support and improve the health and wellbeing of our nation.

Labour's plans to tax education will have a huge negative impact on all schools. It will put pressure on state school provision and will force children to move school causing disruption they don't need. My amendment is my first step in the fight to stop it.
