The Tories are now the most economically right-wing major party in the developed world.

And they have no democratic mandate.

The cost of Brexit:

📈 Rising prices
📉 Falling exports
🐟 Fishing communities sold out
🛑 Young people's opportunities lost
🚨 Crumbling economy

Scotland never voted for it, but we're forced to pay for it - with Labour and Tories imposing the hardest Brexit.

Hard to know what to say to the suggestion I should mirror policies (tax cuts for richest) that have sunk the £, crashed the mortgage market, pushed pensions to the brink, imperilled public services & forced a Bank of England bailout. What planet is the PM living on?

Nicola Sturgeon 📣 Nicola Sturgeon: 'Surely Anas Sarwar must know that to set up a publicly-owned energy generation company, this Parliament would need powers over the energy market and access to borrowing that we don't have.

Why won't Anas Sarwar back full powers for this Parliament?'

In Scotland, some Tories have taken to Twitter in a desperate attempt to silence the First Minister of Scotland from calling on urgent action on the financial crisis from the UK Government.

We urgently need the inhabitants of 10/11 Downing Street to understand and act on mounting concerns about the folly of their policies. Living standards, homes, pensions, public services depend on it.

Liz Truss said several times in her radio round that no family would pay more than £2,500 this year for energy bills.

This is just *not* the case - and here’s why 👇🏼

Martin Lewis(@MartinSLewis) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Pls share to stop confusion.

THERE IS NO £2,500 CAP ON ENERGY BILLS.

Instead the new 1 Oct guarantee, like the old caps, limits
- Daily charge (28p gas, 46p elec)
- & Unit rates (10p/kWh gas, 34p/kWh elec)

So use more, pay more. £2,500 is just what someone with avg use'd pay

The IMF rebukes the Tory UK Govt for its budget which will cut taxes for the very rich and increase inequality. Scotland will not make this mistake - not now, nor in its independent future.

Standing ovation at Labour conference as Keir Starmer says he will never work with the SNP.

And here's a Labour MP boasting about working together with the Tories in Scotland - where Labour and Tories got defeated in every recent election.

Starmer - 'Labour will make Brexit work. You won't get that from the Tories. And conference you won't get that from the SNP either.' Too right mate. 72% of Scots would vote Remain now if given the chance. SNP not masking the catastrophe of Brexit. Why are you?
