I'm going to try to be transparent with you guys and make this weekend's #SundayFishSketch #Fishytheme crystal clear. It's translucent fishes. Can't wait to see-through what you all sketch up! #sciart #fishyfriday

I posted this guy before for a different theme but they’re so cute, here he is again. A barreleye and its tubular eyes for #SundayFishSketch transparent fish theme. #sciart #fishart

For see-through fishes #SundayFishSketch theme I went with the glass catfish, Kryptopterus. Because #MoreCatfish is always a good thing!

The unusual river dwelling Indian Glass Fish (Parambassis ranga) has the unique feature of transparent scales, enabling the seeing of all the innards and bones as well as what is behind it. This should meet the #SundayFishSketch #Fishytheme of “translucent fishes.”

See-through fish? More like sea-through! Many species of eels have a flat, transparent larval stage called leptocephalus during which they're basically just going with the flow - they drift along on ocean currents away from their birthplace in the Sargasso Sea #SundayFishSketch
