I am playing pickup hockey with my brother-in-law Joe every Sunday. I ran into several of my friends and teammates from the past today including Derrick Crane. We played together for several years on the old club 240 AAA hockey team. It was great to see him, the Drakes and others

The district is celebrating its 80th birthday this school year! The history of public schools in the area stretches back to the early 1800s, but the current district was formed in July 1946 with the merger of the Fordson and Dearborn school districts.

I had an excellent meeting today with students from the Model United Nations club. I will help them to promote their club.

We held our first fire side chat events at central office. They are similar to chatting with the superintendent events in the buildings. It is a great way to dialogue and value all staff feedback in the district including central office.
