Paul Bliton Greg Lehman Sam Fischer, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, OCS James Dunning PhD, DPT, MSc NoBullshitPhysio Derek Griffin Ben Cormack James Escaloni I'm in the camp that thinks we need to step away from the question of which treatment method is better and instead ask what should be considered in developing an overall approach for a given patient. Good picture of someone with brachial neuritis/Parsonage Turner to remember. Rare, but something common enough that you’ll see it in your clinical practice

I told my friend who is a pelvic floor physical therapist that I'd had a few months of left buttocks pain and she did a few minutes of manual work on me and she is a goddamn miracle worker genius.

Evidence from omics that aging is not a gradual, linear process. The new study, highlighted here, only assessed people up to age 75 among 108 participants with short term follow-up (1.7 yrs). A previous large study (N>4,200, up to age 95) found a 3rd peak at age 80.

So cool to get the Innovative Practice Award from Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy This is a great initiative they’re doing for their 50th Anniversary and I believe they are still open for submissions to support innovations in the clinic

Literally every country in the world that has “socialized medicine” is more efficient than us. The two biggest causes of waste are third party insurers and hospitals, bc their profit incentives are sucking the system dry. We need a unique solution but it’s not this
