Great catching up with some old friends from the University of Cincinnati at the 2022 ASN Kidney Week

Congratulations to our gap year student William Gard for being accepted into medical school at the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. Our lab celebrated his wonderful accomplishment. William is a former UAB KURE scholar and ASN Kidney Star, and hopefully future nephrologist.

Enjoyed spending time with my lab members, their families, and their significant others at our laboratory holiday party bowling and playing lasertag. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful group of people I work with.

This is Nguyen Nguyen’s last day in the Lee lab. She will be starting graduate school in Biomedical Sciences at the Mayo Clinic in July. We have enjoyed having her in our lab these past 3 years and know she will be a successful future kidney researcher. We are very proud of you!

What a pleasure for my daughter, Lizzy, and me to watch Dr. Deidra Crews’ daughter team play at their AAU nationals volleyball tournament in Orlando this weekend. Deidra’s daughter team finished 5th place in the 13s premier division at the AAU nationals. Go Maryland Juniors!
