Shane Jones could approve a mine in your catchment, throw out any conditions a panel advises, override any rules your council made for that catchment, risk polluting your drinking water & you wouldn't be told until after it was approved.

Not one environmental expert included in the advisory group.

The whole fast-track process still feels like a ‘condition setting’ exercise for ministers to consent approvals.

And a legal means to circumvent environmental protections.
