In 2024 alone, Medicare will pay Medicare (Dis)Advantage plans at least $83 BILLION more than what it would cost the govt. to cover those same enrollees in traditional Medicare. Many enrollees will be denied care by those private insurers, too. 🚩 That's what you call a scam.

Two Reparations bills were blocked in the same way #CalCare #AB2200 was blocked in May: in the secretive Appropriations Committee, where we'll never know who voted for or against it. Why? Because Gavin Newsom didn't want it on his desk, and lawmakers didn't want to vote on it.
