It's mostly dry and warm for the next two days, but rain chances will ramp up Friday night and stay high through at least the first half of Saturday. Rain totals around an inch will be possible. More fall weather on the way next week! #scwx #ncwx

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. There are lots of tiny hot spots in the tropics, but the odds of any of these developing over the next seven days are low. If I had to bet on one of these forming, I'd bet on the one that ends up in the southern Gulf of Mexico early next

It’s the jeep that launched a thousand memes! For those that don’t know, five years ago today, this red jeep got stuck in the sand on the beach as Hurricane Dorian blew by our coast. It was great comic relief during a stressful time! #scwx #ncwx

Lots of yellow on the tropical map but none of these are in a hurry to develop. All have a 30% chance or less of developing over the next 7 days. Deeper dive later today. #scwx #ncwx

Overall, good news for football Friday and Saturday nights. While a few showers will be around for High School football Friday night, most of it comes after the games. Coastal Football home opener Saturday night comes well after most of the rain is gone! #ChantsUp Chants.

Most of the rain headed our way falls Friday night through early Saturday afternoon. Rain totals will range from .50 - .75" along the Grand Strand to less than a .50" inland. #scwx #Ncwx

Clouds will thicken on Friday, but the best chance of rain is at night. Showers are likely Friday through Saturday morning. Showers will taper off as we head through the afternoon and early evening. Overall, it's not bad for high school and college football! #scwx #ncwx
