Club winter junior coaching now over. It's a short break over Easter then from 25th April we'll be back to Cooper Park for outdoor coaching. Softball from 5.15 till 6.30, then novice hardball 6.30 till 8.

Senior and Development team practices start from next week. Senior team on a Tuesday from 6pm and Development team on a Friday from 6pm. New players welcome.

This weekend is a Ross County double header, with the senior team kicking off their season up at Castle Leod tomorrow, whilst the development team hosts Ross County on Sunday. The development team looking to bounce back after a narrow defeat to Huntly last Sunday.

Good night at Fochabers for the first round of primary softball league. Both teams returned with 2 wins from 3 games. Other opponents were Huntly and Fochabers.

1st round of the Gordon Baxter U14 league tonight saw Elgin defeat Gordonstoun by 20 runs. Good start to their summer fixtures.

1st round of intermediate matches held at Fochabers CC saw Elgin come out on top against Huntly A and Huntly B. Some excellent individual performances and great teamwork.

2nd round of GBCL U14 matches saw Elgin visit Huntly. After a mauling last year with the scores 160 odd versus 29, it was much closer with 95 versus 65. Big improvements all round. #closingthegap

Elgin ASG P6 Primary softball festival at Cooper Park. Bit wet underfoot but we got through and some great cricket on show. Congratulations to West End, Bishopmill, New Elgin and Greenwards on qualifying for regional final. Thanks to Active Schools for their support.

Mixed night for Elgin's primary girls teams tonight at Fochabers Cricket Club pitch in the Moray Cricket Association league. Elgin A won 1 out of 3 but Elgin B won 2 out of 3, including the Elgin head-to-head. Format is 6-a-side pairs.

Busy weekend for Elgin, today we comfortably beat Fort Augustus in the league. Tomorrow our senior team travels to Helensburgh Cricket Club for a Cricket Scotland Challenge Cup tie and our development side hosts Highland CC in the league.

Third round of Moray Cricket Association mixed primary softball at Huntly Cricket Club tonight and a decent one for Elgin. The A team won 2 from 2, B team won 3 from 3 and the C team 1 from 3. 2 teams each from Huntly and Fochabers CC were the other teams.
