The Supreme Court of Brazil announces the blocking of X throughout the country on … *checks notes* .. X. 🇧🇷

🚨🇧🇷 Brazil’s activist court has ordered “the immediate, complete, and integral suspension” of X in the country. Without free speech there can be NO freedom. They’re not just targeting Elon. They’re after their own people and their own democracy.

And international human rights law! Brazil is bound to the uphold the basic human right to free speech, including under the American Convention on Human Rights. Time for the Inter American Commission to get involved.
