Congratulations to BGHS Senior Ande Haga, committing to The Murphy Construction Group as a heavy equipment operator.

The BGISD Board of Education has approved a 5% salary increase for all employees for the 2024-25 school year. First-year teachers with a bachelor’s degree will begin at $45,000 and the minimum hourly wage will be $15.75/hour.

Kindergarten astronauts have returned from a successful mission to space. Last Thursday, students in Mr. White’s class at W R. McNeill Elementary spent the day visiting space from their classroom, including exploring numbers beyond 20, and building and coding LEGO moon taxis.
