The fishing club held a charity event called “Learn-to-Fish,' & despite the weather, the event was a huge success! Juniors Conner Hayes and Jackson Yoder hosted the event, which helped over 20 elementary school-aged children and their families learn how to fish. Great work Stags!

Junior Matt Beachley (Penn St.) scored with no time left in regulation and then tallied the game-winner to lead DeMatha to a 10-9 victory over PVI in a WCAC first-round playoff game. His winning shot came 1:14 into the extra session. The Stags now play at St. John’s on Friday.

Nice win today over O'Connell in golf, 5-4. Stags are 7-4 on the year. WCAC Championships tomorrow.

Varsity tennis finishes second at the WCAC Championships. Stags fought hard and had some nice wins this season. Congrats to Coach Dalzell and his players for the great effort all year. #Represent

Today there was a mother and son luncheon at DeMatha. Thank you mom for sacrificing so much for me to be where I am at.

Gabe Chapman pitched a four-hitter & Charley Magoulick hit two home runs to lead DeMatha to a 9-0 victory over St. Mary’s Ryken. The Stags (25-4) advance to the WCAC semifinals to face St. John’s on Monday. Game 1 is at Riverdale Park at 4:30 p.m. Charley has five homers in ‘24.
