On International Mine Awareness Day, we reconfirm the EU's unwavering commitment to protecting civilians from this preventable threat.

Ukraine is one of the most mine-contaminated countries in the world.

We have set out to train and donate 50 explosive and mine detection dogs to Ukraine by the end of 2024.

17 dogs are already in Ukraine and 12 will arrive in June.
