My editor Gar (RIP) had me interview a vocal coach who found a new way to open up vocal cords, by using a high-end vibrator (on the throat).

Weeks after the story ran the vibrator company, totally unsolicited, sent a box of 12 vibrators to me in the newsroom.

Blocking haters of various varieties left and right today.

The dismantling of the Kensington encampments was done an hour earlier than was announced and was led by police and sanitation workers and not by outreach workers, as the city said it would be.

My heart breaks today for my colleagues who've been laid off. They've given so much and deserve so much better.

When anyone asks me what Delco is, I’m just gonna show them this picture of a convertible hearse that someone drove to a children’s baseball game last weekend.

I've delt with a few variations of the Mayor's Press Office in my 17 years here but I've never seen one just routinely ignore media requests or try and dictate media coverage to this degree before.

I went to Boston for the first time & I’m sorry to report it wasn’t terrible. In fact, I had a good time & I’m still salty about it.

Philly is still the GOAT (obvs) but we need our own Freedom Trail, more buskers & car-free zones here too as 2026 nears.
