The very first Special Olympics took place here in Illinois back in 1968.

It showcases who we are as a state, a place where we welcome our differences and celebrate them.

Today, I’m proud to continue that tradition with Special Olympics Illinois’ Pep Rally before the 2024 Summer Games.

Today marks the end of Jewish American Heritage Month, Illinois.

We didn't let extremists or self-serving special interests get in the way of solutions.

It took hard work, compromise, and creativity to make transformational progress for Illinoisans.

We’re rebuilding an Illinois we can all be proud of.

The FY25 budget has passed and it’s our 6th consecutive balanced budget!
