My worst fear is in life is to have to use my CPR training lol

I just got home from work, and John’s already asleep. He rolls over and brings his arm and the covers up to have me come in, and then Zenon comes to lay on the other side of me. After a long day, this made me the happiest.

John is soundly asleep next to me. There was a time where I was worried about his safety, or when I would hear from him next. Now I can hear him breathing, I can feel his warmth, the blankets shuffling with every move he makes.

This is peace. This is serenity.
I am grateful.

mentally, I haven’t been okay. But I’m really proud of myself for how well I’m holding it together even if it’s only me who sees it. I’m really proud of myself.
