Old 1970’s Catholics are losing their minds right now. They thought they rid us of Tradition and now the younger generation is obsessed with it.

Less than 80 years ago average American teenage boys were storming beaches with Nazi machine guns raining down and them. Simply growing up in America had uniquely prepared them.

On this Memorial Day weekend may we reflect upon and reclaim the fortitude of previous generations.

2. Napoleon Bonaparte studying at the military academy.

Notice how this lithograph by Jacques de Bréville depicts the young French emperor devouring books, while the shadow of his future self looms over Europe, blending seamlessly with the city's silhouette outside the window.

I love this. I love this because sometimes parents can see things that a child doesn't understand. I do believe we should listen to our kids but sometimes kids don't always make the best choices about the school to attend. I have seen parents regret letting their child choose.

Five years ago Grace wrote me a seven-page handwritten-letter begging to not go to the all-girls Catholic school. But after her freshman year, she told me I could not pay her to transfer if I wanted. Today she graduated. Words fail to describe how proud I am of this girl.

Jeremy Wayne Tate Berry College is unreal. Stunning fountains and pools surrounded by magnificent English Gothic-style buildings.

It's 27,000-acre campus is also the largest in the world.
