Brilliant news, Clare Moody will be excellent. Labour win despite Tories attempting to rig it by switching to FPTP. Bristol came through for Clare!

Obviously this ā¬‡ļø is quite amusing but if youā€™re a constituent and have had trouble voting today, please do email me with details. Have already picked up a couple of issues today.

Great to be out in east Bristol this afternoon, with Marvin Rees Kerry McCarthy, Tom Renhard, Marley, Thomas Lydon, and more!

Lots of people voting for change today with Labour to restore neighbourhood policing across our area after repeated Tory cuts to police numbers.

Out in Hillfields this morning, for Ellie King Kelvin Blake and Clare Moody. I didnā€™t know till today that the lovely trees in Maple Ave were donated by Canadians who came over to see Englandā€™s first council estate.

The most significant step on Bristolā€™s pathway to was not declaring a climate emergency, it was working out how to deliver on it. Marvin Rees and Craig Cheney deserve huge credit for Bristol City Leap, a model which can be replicated across the U.K. and worldwide. 2/2

Good to speak on green investment at this morning. Lots of interest in Bristol City Leap model of leveraging in Ā£Ā£Ā£s in private sector finance for decarbonisation with the help of a state-owned entity like Vattenfall, or in future, under Labour, GB Energy. 1/2

For the first time in Bristol, photo ID is now needed at polling stations. Accepted forms of ID include a passport, driving licence, or older personā€™s bus pass.

If you donā€™t have any form of ID you can still apply here: bit.ly/3CVMNBy

Sorry, George, you're wrong on this one. The average house price in Bristol is now Ā£384,348. We need to build more homes. Four modern, attractive apartment blocks on a brownfield site is surely a welcome development?

Danny Kruger says that supporters of have ā€œquasi religiousā€ fervour for it, which is a bizarre way of turning the tables. My support is based on compassion, and personal experience of seeing family members go through horrible drawn-out deaths.

In Westminster Hall for very well-attended debate on . 38 members down to speak; I canā€™t as I wasnā€™t able to make the start, but am getting very frustrated by some of the arguments being made! Well done Paul Blomfield MP for calling out danny.

Everywhere I go in Avon & Somerset, people say they don't see the police. That must change.

But the Tory commissioner is cutting police numbers again in our area.

This Thursday, 2nd May, and at the upcoming general election, vote to restore neighbourhood policing. Vote Labour.

They didn't respond until BBC Bristol raised it

.The Labour Party's vow to safeguard 30% of our land and seas by 2030 is exactly the kind of ambitious target we need to combat the UK's environmental decline.

Itā€™s why I say Labour will be our greenest government ever.
