Great investigation of MMR deficiency and Lynch Syndrome in pancreatic cancer. The low incidence of MMR deficiency in PDAC has made analysis of these cases challenging in the past, but it's now quite clear that MMR testing is therapeutically important for PDAC patients.

An incredible day yesterday Newcastle University to see Sir John Burn and team. So much still needs to be done to find news ways to reduce the burden of cancer in Lynch syndrome. Alongside Emma Crosbie and with European Hereditary Tumour Group we will do our bit.

It's hard to believe it's 5 years since a British PM visits Dublin. It won't be on the agenda but I'd love to see access to UK clinical trials for Irish patients discussed. Less than 2% of cancer patients access clinical trials in Ireland. Simon Harris TD Keir Starmer
