✅Workforce plan for statutory services
✅Strong Regional Crisis Intervention Service

It MUST be fully funded in this year's budget💰

Funding plan: £42.08mil for 24/25

Very pleased to visit the Justice NI Remote Evidence Centre yesterday

A key recommendation of the Gillen Review,

it provides a safe, trauma-informed setting from which victims, including children, can give evidence.

👩‍🌾The mental health needs of agri students & farming families.

🌾The impact of climate change on mental health, & youth climate anxiety.

Many thanks to Education Minister Paul Givan for today’s meeting.

I highlighted the impact of the education setting on children’s mental health & issues affecting wellbeing.

It was also helpful to learn more about his priorities for the Department, & the current challenges.

The statistics in today's #WorriedAndWaiting report are appalling & shameful.

Over 22,000 children & young people in NI are waiting on a 1st outpatient appointment.

Many are waiting over a year,

delayed assessments & treatments, deteriorating, suffering... 1/

I was very impressed by the moving accounts from those who had been supported by ARC programmes & the commitment of the staff.
