in 1998, Senator John Glenn returned to space aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery, almost 4 decades after he made history as the 1st American to orbit the Earth.

Glenn and his STS-95 crewmates conducted more than 80 experiments on their nearly 10-day mission.

Is there water deep in our solar system? Yes! in 2015, the Cassini spacecraft flew through a plume ejected from Enceladus, Saturn's icy moon. The plume contained salty water, providing evidence for a sub-surface ocean.
