Sending my appreciation to Hyundai Canada for their generous commitment of $500,000 toward the development of a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Markham Stouffville Hospital.

We know the need for mental health services has risen in our community and children and youth have been especially impacted in recent years. Once complete and approved, the addition of this unit will reduce wait times and create barrier-free mental health support for our youth.
