HMG were given a clear plan to boost UK private sector investment in innovative scaleups by £10bnpa at zero cost to HMG. They turned it down. Let’s hope we soon have a new government serious about investment.

He’s quite right about this. AstraZeneca is one of the very few UK listed companies that is truly global and has grown substantially faster than their industry. They have to be able to attract & retain the best global talent.
